In order to increase the level of practice-oriented study, and above all at the students request and the initiative of the Department of Marketing senior lecturer Anna Rosohata freshmen majoring in "Marketing" and "Management" visited the Youth Center "Romantica". Youth Center "Romantica" representatives greeted the students with enthusiasm and emotion. The tour was conducted by Deputy the Director of the center Inna Dmytrenko, she told a lot of interesting information about the Youth Leisure Center in Sumy; about all locations and opportunities that are currently open for students and even about those that are still in the plans in the future. Also it was discussed questions about organization management and marketing for social youth centers in Sumy. And how students can join it, because there are opportunities for youth participation in the format of volunteering, internships and also employment. In addition, students had the opportunity to meet the director of the center Igor Gannenko and personally hear about all benefits that young people receive, concentrating their activities within the walls of "Romantica". So, in the wake of change, the interdisciplinary tour opened up a lot of new opportunities for student leisure! And we are with new knowledge to new action!
The Jean Monnet project "Carbon Free Economy: Best Practices for Ukraine" (620232-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) is implemented by attracting a wide range of students. Chygryn Olena gave a lecture-discussion on "Key goals of carbon-free development".
The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the long-term targets for the implementation of this strategy:
- decarbonization of energy supply;
- promoting secure mobile communications;

The participants of the online webinar got acquainted with the key targets and tasks of this strategy, discussed the topic of stimulating the creation of green jobs, discussed the EU's experience in reducing greenhouse gas emissions while growing the economy.
Each time, the Marketing Department sets itself the task of exploring new possibilities of software in the field of marketing. Business identification trends in the digital space, content monitoring, determining the tone of comments and algorithms for quick response to comments are of interest to every marketer.

In the frame of Marketing and Management of Knowledge classes (lecturer Nadia Artyukhova), on February 18, 2021, the head of the own advertising agency "Ya-mediabuyer", media buyer, architect of sales tunnels in messengers, Ph.D. Olena Yaroshenko was invited. The topic "How the expert can offer his services in the Internet space" was presented by speaker for the students of the Marketing Department. During the speech, Olena has shared interesting and useful information about Internet marketing issues and methods of knowledge implementation in practice, presented valuable recommendations for activities in the field of Internet marketing. During the discussion Olena also has answered to students' questions.
The Department of Marketing continues to conduct practice-oriented training, one of the effective implementations of which is to invite practitioners to lessons with students for interactive lectures in the online training format. This time on February 23 and 26 Victoria Makerska - Founder and director of the studio "Tree of Desires" (Sumy) was involved to the disciplines "Marketing of Services" and "Marketing". As part of an interdisciplinary collaboration between the Department of Marketing of SSU and Sumy City Council among students of marketing 1 and 3 courses was a quest of tourist locations of Sumy (discipline "Information Technology in Marketing", teacher Rosokhata Anna and "Marketing Territories", teacher Khomenko Liliya ).
The quest was attended by 23 students who joined 4 teams. During the week, participants visited 10 architectural monuments and found answers to tricky questions in the story of the virtual guide Ivan Kharitonenko. Students had the opportunity not only to get acquainted with historical places, but also to use modern opportunities for augmented reality for marketing purposes.
Tetyana Pimonenko and Oleksii Lyulyov provided the online training for students from the different speciality on the perspectives of green entrepreneurship in Ukraine in the framework of the project «EU policy for SMEs: perspectives and challenges for Ukraine» (619999-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE). In the beginning, the speakers told on the features of green entrepreneurship and incentive instruments on the EU examples. During the training, students were working in the team and generating ideas for green entrepreneurship. The multidisciplinary character of teams' members allowed developing creative ideas for green business and highlighting ecological and economic and social benefits of green entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
Daria Kolesnyk, a second-year student of the major Marketing, already has experience in the International competition of student scientific works "Black Sea Science." Even though Daria participated in a competition for the first time, her scientific work on the topic "The influence of brands on consumer behavior. COVID-19 pandemic adjustments" ranked in the top 40 works in the field of Economics and administration. The work was a worthy competition to other works, including ones from Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Moldova. The jury of the competition included specialists from Ukrainian and foreign institutions (Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, Romania, and Georgia). The jury evaluated Daria’s work at a fairly high level. It testifies to the powerful scientific potential of the student and her supervisor Liudmyla Saher.
Doctoral student of the Department of Marketing Olena Chygryn conducted a series of webinars for students of economics in the framework of the J ean Monnet project "Carbon Neutral Economy: Best Practices for Ukraine" (620232-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE).
The participants of the online project discussed the problems of promoting the main stages of the implementation of this strategy:
