The Department of Marketing hosted an online lecture by Professor and practising entrepreneur Abraham Moskovich (University of Haifa, Israel) on "A Worldwide Business Evaluation Model proposal for M&A"

The key issues were:

PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

On October 21-22, the Department of Marketing co-organized the VIII International Scientific Conference "Determinants of Regional Development", which took place at the State University. S. Staszyca (Pila, Poland).

 

As part of a research grant from the International Visegrad Fund, graduate student Yana Us presented the results of a study on "Energy efficiency profiles in developing the carbon-free economy: on the example of Ukraine and the V4 countries."

NEW CASES FROM POLISAN LLC

Marketers continue to communicate with practitioners.

On October 21, the restless attended new lectures-trainings from Polisan LLC. This time Maksym Shmatok, Head of Internet Marketing, spoke about modern marketing strategies.

 

Transformations of marketing strategies, catalysts and success of marketers - this is a non-exhaustive list of issues addressed. Students have already accustomed to constant dialogue and open communication at such training. The most creative and active listeners received gifts from Maxim Shmatko.

On October 19, marketing students in the study of "Fundamentals of Marketing" and "Marketing Communications 1" (teacher - Sager L.Yu.) had the opportunity to hear about current trends in marketing and opportunities and features of Big Data in marketing.

CARBON FOOTPRINT: BENEFITS FOR STAKEHOLDERS

Bachelors and Masters in Marketing continue to attend lectures and seminars within the framework of the Jean Monnet project "Carbon Neutral Economy: Best Practices for Ukraine" (620232-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE).

 

On October 1, 2021, Serhiy Leonov held a webinar on "Carbon footprint: benefits for stakeholders", in which he spoke about the history of the term, levels of implementation, category of biopotential, prospects for the use of environmental footprint at the macro and micro level.

There were a lot of interesting questions from the students: about the formation of an individual ecological footprint,  who are the "green" and "brown" consumers? 

PROMOTION OF ARTICLES BY PRESTIGIOUS SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS

It is a pleasure to receive such letters from the editors of authoritative scientific publications.

 

Authors of Vasilieva Tetyana, Lyulyov Oleksiy, Bilan Yuriy of the scientific article "Sustainable economic development and greenhouse gas emissions: the dynamic impact of renewable energy consumption, GDP, and corruption" received a message from the editorial board of the scientific journal Energies (Scopus, Q1) about promotion the article in social networks.

VISEGRAD+ GRANT PROJECT START-UP

Within the framework of the Visegrad+ Grant support project «Carbon-free economy: the best practices between the V4 and Ukraine», on October 1, 2021, we held the online star-up meet with our #V4 partners from Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, and Hungary.

The organizational issues, main tasks and roles were discussed to ensure fruitful collaboration and perfect results.

THE IMPACT OF EU COHERENCE POLICY: EFFICIENCY AND CONVERGENCE

The new academic year for bachelor’s in marketing began with new seminars within the framework of Jean Monnet's project "Carbon Neutral Economy: Best Practices for Ukraine" (620232-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE).

Chygryn Olena held a seminar on "The Impact of EU Cohesion Policy", in which she told about various aspects of the implementation of EU cohesion policy: efficiency, convergence, inequality, governance and many others.

LIVE COMMUNICATION IS ALWAYS IN TREND

The restless started a new project. A whole course of lectures from practising marketers.

On October 7, 2021, fourth- and second-year students gathered in a spacious auditorium, and first-year marketers joined the online lecture.

 

The first lecture was devoted to marketing audit.

Maxim Shmatok, Head of Internet Marketing at #Polisan, spoke about current trends in marketing research and changes in the behaviour of modern consumers.

It is very nice that there was an atmosphere of live communication, students were actively involved in discussion and dialogue, substantiate their opinions, and sometimes began to discuss.

 

FIRST COURSE - FIRST LESSONS IN PRODUCTION

 

Enterprise "Polisan" begins a series of lectures and practical trainings for marketers. Today first-year students visited the company. Together with Marina Voshchenko, head of standardization, certification and quality, students saw the whole cycle of production of paints and varnishes, starting with monitoring the quality of raw materials ending with packaging and quality testing of varnishes and paints on diagnostic equipment in a modern laboratory. The company has a modern logistics center in its structure, and production units are equipped with new packing and packaging lines.

IF YOUR FEELINGS ARE RUNNING ON TRIPLE-HIGH VOLUME, SHARE THEM

The restless first-year master's student, Olha Maiboroda, sends regards from charming Riga and shares her impressions.

"I've already studied at the University of Latvia for a month. The Latvian State scholarship program gives me the possibility to enjoy the learning process of the University of Latvia, observe the beautiful architecture of the city, know a new culture, and meet a lot of friends.

Professors impress me with interesting lectures and practical tasks. To date, we study online, but it is planned to come back to the classrooms.

Except studying, I have an opportunity to travel around Latvia and neighboring countries.

ADVANCED MARKETING IN CASES

Vladimir Rudyka, founder and director of the advertising agency RG Region, visited the restless again. On September 28, 2021, Volodymyr gave an online lecture for 2nd-year marketers and shared practical cases of the advertising business.

Information on the impact of the pandemic process on the advertising business and consumption trends, on the transformation of modern marketing tools was useful.

 

? Traditionally interesting was the experience:
