As part of the Jean Monnet project "Carbon-free economy: best practices for Ukraine" (620232-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) Chygryn Olena and Pimonenko Tetyana conducted a webinar-training on "New Climate Strategy" of the European Union: goals and challenges ".
The participants of the online webinar got acquainted with the key targets and tasks of this strategy, discussed the topic of stimulating the creation of green jobs, discussed the EU's experience in reducing greenhouse gas emissions while growing the economy.
Particular attention was paid to encouraging EU member states and international partners to increase restrictions on global warming and avoid the global effects of climate change.
