As part of the discipline Risk-management, students of the 3rd course of “Marketing”had the opportunity to participate in the webinar “Leveraging Data & Analytics for Artificial Intelligence in Enterprise Risk Management” from the Risk Management Society. Webinar speaker, Patricia Saporito (CEO of Saporito & Associates), highlighted the trends and challenges of today's digital world, highlighted the top 10 risks of 2020, revealed best practices for data use and analytics in risk management, as well as advanced approaches to risk management at the global level. The acquired knowledge will allow proactive students of marketing to stay on the crest of the wave of modern challenges.

 

We deepen our knowledge of affiliate marketing together with practice

The meeting with the practitioner in the field of affiliate marketing took place for 1st and 3rd year students in the discipline "Fundamentals of Marketing" and "Marketing of innovation". Artem Bazhal, Business Development at Natus Vincere, shared his practical experience during a training on the topic: Practical cases of Affiliate marketing. Artem also told that this type of marketingis now becoming increasingly popular in the Internet environment, especially among business representatives of developed countries. He also shared his thoughts about the first steps in this direction that the student can take to start working and earning money in this field.

 

Meeting of marketers on the topic: "SMM-strategies and creativs formation based on the analysis of consumer behavior"

On October 20, students of the 1st, 2nd and 4th courses of the specialty "Marketing" gathered for a lecture-discussion with practice in the field of  the Internet environment marketing promotion. The lecture was given by Oleg Kozhevnikov - SMM-specialist with more than 5 years of experience in this field, currently works as a freelancer and has his own projects. During the online meeting, Oleg shared interesting cases, showed how to set up targeted advertising in his Ads Manager office and answered all questions of proactive  students of marketing.

As part of Tetyana Pimonenko's Marketing Advanced course, the restless joined the webinar "How to improve landing: easy solutions to increase efficiency" from the curator of educational projects at Tilda Publishing Serhiy Bolysov. The Department of Marketingis expanding its network of stakeholders and establishing contacts with practitioners in many areas. The DOM team did not stay aside and fully joined the in-service training program for SumDU teachers "Information and advertising component of career guidance", where Maria Minchenko offered students free life hacking to win the desired place in the rankings of Google search engine.

We did not forget about marketing analytics: on the example of its own website, the Department of Marketing told the results of a study to determine the list of relevant information needs of the applicant in search of information about the specialty.

Finally, they revealed the marketing secret of the blog - to whom, when and how to create it on the site, and most importantly explained its need and alternative uses.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Marketing Anna Rosokhata attended the Informal Meeting of Leading Marketing Specialists in the field of SMM in Kyiv "SMM with a cup of coffee", where she got acquainted with representatives of the industry from Kyiv. During the meeting, real projects and cases of SMM promotion with presentations and feedbacks were showed and discussed. LEARNING IN MEDICAL TOURISM PRACTITIONERS: TOURIST PRODUCT AND PROMOTION STRATEGIES

On October 8, 2020, as part of the study of the discipline "Marketing Commodity Policy", second-year students majoring in "Marketing" had the opportunity to participate in an online congress dedicated to the comprehensive development of such an exciting area of ​​tourism as medicine. One of the blocks was devoted to the peculiarities of the formation of the tourist offer, marketing, and promotion.

From the reports at this interesting congress, online participants learned much useful information. The speakers conveyed the opinion that the domestic product of medical tourism is competitive in the world market, has its target audience, and Ukraine has many tourist magnets for medical tourists. Moreover, the students realized that there are many tasks and challenges for creative and ready to move marketers!

INVOLVING PRACTICES IN TEACHING DISCIPLINES

On October 6, 2020, marketing students within the discipline of Maria Minchenko "Creating innovative projects" took an active part in the lecture "Where to look for resources to support innovative projects in Ukraine?".
II Kulchytsky (Head of the National Information Point "Information and Communication Technologies", Lviv Polytechnic National University, President of the NGO "European Innovation Agency") involved students in the problematic aspects of using existing tools to support innovation in Ukraine throughout the innovation chain from the idea to the market.
The students had the most questions about the details of receiving support from national and international programs, as well as recommendations on the specifics of preparing and submitting innovative projects.

WE OPEN A NEW RUBRIC ON THE DOM WEBSITE

The Department of Marketingof SumDU constantly tries to make student life bright and extraordinary, filled with various formats of getting the additional knowledge. Our students with great enthusiasm # Caught the Wave of Change and began to use such innovations. The result is internship diplomas, certificates of conformity and REAL comments and their impressions of participation.

Therefore, it was decided to create a new section "COMMENTS", which will help us to show an effective component of the work of teachers with students.

On September 21-26, students of the Department of Marketing were participants of the "UGEN Challenge MarketingFinance". It is a huge platform that helps to understand our own priorities for further employment, to prove to employers that our students are able to be in their teams and to set their authentic creative vector in the market of marketing services.
Ukrtelecom, Coca-Cola HBC, lifecell, Unilever, JTI, MARS, Philip Morris, PRAVEX BANK and many other companies joined the event, because they really understand that only in such formats you can find the diamond that will bring them a competitive advantage.
