On December 18-20, 2023, irrepressible marketers held the defense of the students qualification papers of the Master's level of full-time and part-time education.

Students presented their research in an online format, demonstrating a wide range of innovative approaches to solving current marketing problems.

Research within the framework of qualification works was conducted on topics relevant for today: neuromarketing, SEO optimization, marketing tools for the promotion of e-commerce, SMM, blogging, etc.

This year, for the first time, defenses took place on the basis of the branch of the department, at the enterprise "TECHNOCHEM" LLC. The qualifying papers of students Oleksandr Skubko ("Marketing in social networks as a tool for the efficiency and competitiveness of modern business in the digital environment") and Horunzhy Artur ("Marketing strategies of socially responsible campaigns: analysis and ways of improvement") were devoted to the study of applied aspects of the functioning of the enterprise.

The director of the TEHNOCHEM LLC, Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleg OLEFIRENKO was involved in the work as part of the examination commission. The commission noted the high level of students' training and their deep understanding of key aspects of research.

SCIENTIFIC VIRTUAL CLASSROOM GAINS MOMENTUM

The unique scientific virtual class, which connected students of the University of Applied Sciences named after Stanislav Stashits in Pila and Sumy State University, continues its work from November 27, 2023 and will last until December 29, 2023.

The main topic of virtual classes is "Marketing trends: new waves and the future of Artificial Intelligence", where participants study key aspects of marketing related to the development of technologies and the use of AI in modern business.

From Sumy State University, participants of the virtual COAS were students majoring in 075 "Marketing" at the "bachelor" educational level - 99 applicants; according to the educational level "master" - 59 recipients, and recipients of the degree of doctor of philosophy in the field of economics - 57 recipients.

During the course, students perform tasks aimed at developing their skills and deepening their understanding of the topic. Upon completion, each participant will receive a certificate recognized by both universities that will reflect their achievements in this scientific virtual classroom.

Thanks to the unrestless movement of teachers and students, students had the opportunity to go to Kyiv to one of the coolest marketing agencies in Ukraine! 🙌

It was a powerful and inspiring meeting that showed how marketing works in practice, using the example of well-known brands (Rozetka, Nova Poshta, Diya, Morshinska, etc.).

We made sure that traditional marketing is the skeleton of working with projects at @fedoriv_agency. This is what we teach our students. 🔥

SCIENTIFIC VIRTUAL CLASSROOM FOR THE RESTLESS

On November 27, 2023, a joint scientific virtual class started its work, which united students of two outstanding universities - Stanislav Stashits University of Applied Sciences in Pila and Sumy State University. The program will last until December 29, 2023.

The main topic of the virtual classes is "Marketing trends: new waves and the future of Artificial Intelligence." Participants will study key aspects of marketing related to the development of technology and the use of AI in business.

Participants of the virtual class will have the opportunity to perform specific tasks that will contribute to their development and understanding of the topic. At the end of the course, each participant will receive a certificate that will take into account their educational achievements.

The coordinators of the program were selected leading experts from both universities: Professor Jan POLCYN from the Stanislav Stashits University of Applied Sciences in Pila and Professor Tetiana PIMONENKO from Sumy State University.

This initiative, known as "Join Virtual Collaborative Class for Students", aims to create a network to share knowledge, deepen collaboration and jointly explore important aspects of marketing and artificial intelligence.

MARKETING FOR THE PROMOTION OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AMONG YOUTH

On November 23, we had an exciting event timed to the International No Smoking Day.

Nataliia LETUNOVSKA, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing, conducted the lecture with students of Konotop Industrial and Pedagogical College of Sumy State University (Konotop).  The lecture was devoted to the use of marketing tools in social initiatives aimed at combating the spread of tobacco smoking among the population of Ukraine.

During the class, questions were raised about the possibilities of conveying the importance of current problems in the field of healthy development of the country to the entire society, as well as practical approaches to informing about the dangers of habits harmful to health.

They talked about the components of a healthy lifestyle, examples of information campaigns against smoking, in particular the social project of the marketing department of Sumy State University, "No smoking" – an exhibition of photo works and creative installations of students dedicated to the fight against this bad habit.

This event was an excellent opportunity to communicate with Konotop Industrial and Pedagogical College students and hear their opinions on the most pressing issues in a healthy lifestyle.

HOW THE SUMDU BRAND IS FORMED

On November 22, a practice-oriented event was held for 1-2 year marketing students.

The topic of the meeting: "Does the university need a brand: let's think together on the example of Sumy State University."

Speaker: Maryna Osyukhina, head of the Media Center of Sumy State University.

They talked about the specifics of SumDU brand formation, what a brand book is and its components, who develops the identity and how, as well as plans for the future.

The event took place within the framework of the project #Be_expert_with_the_restless in a mixed format - offline within the walls of the university, as well as with the possibility of joining online.

DIVING INTO THE MODERN ADVERTISING MARKET

On November 16, 2023, within the discipline of Marketing Advanced (teacher Tetiana PIMONENKO), Basics of Marketing Activity (teacher Liliya KHOMENKO), students of 1-4 years attended an interesting lecture-discussion on the topic "Modern trends in marketing".

The speaker of the event - Volodymyr Rudyka, the founder and CEO of the "RG Region" advertising group, spoke simply and clearly, using his own examples, about the modern advertising market, his approach to working with clients and how to adapt to changes in legislation. It was cool!

The event took place within the framework of the project "Be an expert with the #nevgamovni".

MODERN PRACTICES OF MARKETING ACTIVITIES MANAGEMENT

Acquiring practical skills is impossible without studying the modern practices of enterprises in various economic sectors.

On November 20, 2023, as part of the disciplines "Marketing Advanced" (teacher Tetyana PIMONENKO) and "Blogging and Influencer Marketing" (teacher Liliya KHOMENKO), a practical session was held for second- and fourth-year marketers at the branch of the Department of Marketing at Technochim LLC.

Branch representative Oleg OLEFIRENKO spoke about the necessity for a scientific approach to building marketing strategies at machine-building enterprises. He noted that marketing business strategies are inextricably linked to increasing production efficiency and creating the conditions for introducing innovations.

The students were interested in transforming marketing activities related to the military situation in Ukraine and establishing new partnership relations in the EU markets.

MODERN TRENDS IN MARKETING

On November 16, 2023, an open lecture on "Modern trends in marketing" will be held.

Volodymyr Rudyka, founder of the "Region" advertising group, will be the speaker of the event.
