On May 25, 2023, an online lecture-discussion on "Initiatives for the formation of green campuses in the EU" was held.

The main speaker of the event was Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Tetyana Vasylieva.

The panelists learned about the goals and principles of forming green campuses, the role of such campuses in mitigating climate change, and modern practices of organizing green campuses. The participants of the event had a unique opportunity to hear about the latest trends in this field and ask their questions to an expert.
 
In addition, students and post-graduate students of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship made an important contribution to the event by sharing their experience in foreign universities. Their stories and knowledge added to the overall picture and facilitated the exchange of valuable information.
 
The event provided participants with new perspectives on green campuses and their impact on sustainability and climate change. Such activities contribute to raising students' awareness and deepening their understanding of current world problems.

The lecturers of the Department of Marketing from Sumy State University successfully held the Online Scientific Festival "Introduction to Carbon-Free Economy" as part of the Jean Monnet Module "EU Carbon-free economy: best practices for Ukraine" project.

The event, which was co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, gathered participants from various specialties and higher education institutions of Ukraine.

The main speakers were Tetyana Pimonenko & Oleksii Lyulyov, who shared their experience and practical knowledge of using tools such as VosViewer, Google Trends, Stata and others to identify trends in scientific research on carbon-neutral economy, as well as empirically confirm the impact of climate change on economic development and everyday life.

The participants of the festival took part in panel discussions and interactive sessions, where the issues of increasing energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy sources and the development of a carbon-neutral economy in Ukraine were discussed.

Such festivals create new opportunities for research and raising awareness of environmental issues among the younger generation.

In May,the 3rd year students of the "Marketing" specialty, groups EN-03/1mk, EN-03/3mk-1, and MK-01 joined an exciting and valuable webinar on the topic: "Market Research for Your Idea". This event was organized by the "Web Academy" organization.

The webinar speaker, Dmytro Kanevsky, Product Manager at Universe (Genesis), shared his own cases.

The following issues were considered during the webinar:

1. The most common business models for the product IT;
2. How to analyze the market you plan to enter;
3. What should be paid attention to when analyzing competitors?

The event was extremely dynamic with unexpected cases and new insights. We together to new knowledge!

This time, marketers (MK-21 group) within the framework of the discipline "Information systems in marketing" (teacher Yevgenia Zyabina) joined the workshop by Victoria Zarubina, marketer of "KOSHIK-MARKET" LLC, who talked about the basics of working in Photoshop and the main aspects of graphic design for beginners In the course of practice, a layout of a flyer was created with a detailed description of all elements.

According to the results of the workshop, students must complete tasks that will be evaluated by a lecturer-practitioner.

From April 24 to 28, a series of useful events "Eko-week" took place. What is it? This is a youth project in the eco-theme, which is organized by students of the Institute of Business, Economics and Management of the Sumy State University and is supported by the Youth Policy Department of the Sumy City Council.

But in addition, the co-organizer of "Eko-week" was the team of the Erasmus+ project of Jean Monnet "Healthy Economy and Policy: EU values for Ukraine"  that is realized on the Department of marketing of Sumy State University.

Within the framework of the "Eko-week" events, the dissemination of project ideas took place, the EU experience in the field was disseminated health and welfare of citizens.

The next events took place during "Eko-week":

• Eco-race, during which we will contribute to the cleanliness of the city (gloves and garbage bags will be provided);
• Workshop "Eco-habits" (let's talk about ecological habits and play a simulation game);
• Master class on shopper painting (the master class is free, we will provide all the materials);
• Training on project management (during the training, a mini-grant was drawn for the implementation of the project of social action of an ecological direction with the support of the youth policy department of the SMR).

As promised, everything turned out cool, interesting and youthful.

From April 18 to 24, 2023, Oleksiy Lyulov, Tetyana Pimonenko, and Liliya Lyulova participated in the academic mobility program at EKA of Applied University in Latvia.

The mobility program included participation in the International Academic Week 2023, which was rich in various lectures, trainings, and master classes, including topics such as the relationship between business and art in research and entrepreneurship, storytelling and gamification at cultural events and marketing, and various artistic techniques in educational processes.

Additionally, during the mobility, representatives of the department had the opportunity to hold a series of meetings with management and instructors at EKA of Applied University, which allowed for the identification of further directions for joint cooperation, opportunities for submitting joint grant applications, conducting joint virtual mobility classes, and more.

We thank the EKA team for the fruitful and eventful International Academic Week 2023 within the Erasmus+ program.
