Objectives of Jean Monnet Module GCAM
The main tasks of Jean Monnet Module GCAM
1) Generation, dissemination of knowledge and ideas regarding the best European experience in creating green universities and their role in sustainable development (through the preparation of a training course and textbook).
2) Facilitate dialogue between the scientific world and society to promote climate neutrality and develop environmental awareness skills and environmental values in a community (through an open to all interdisciplinary festival of ideas, research and start-up projects on greening the working/learning environment).
3) Dissemination of the best scientific and pedagogical practices and student initiatives regarding climate neutrality and environmental responsibility (through a competition of scientific and pedagogical excellence).
4) Promotion of multi-level cooperation in academic circles following the principles of the European cohesion policy (through a series of round tables and educational seminars with the participation of students, teachers, scientists, technical staff and senior management to develop road maps, implementation of the environmental policy of the university and a plan of joint measures for its implementation).
5) Development of skills in the formation of environmental policy, dissemination of knowledge about the advantages and policy of green campus development among a wide range of educational institutions of all levels, local and state institutions (through the development of an open-access Manual, its presentation to local education management bodies of all levels, ministry of education, providing consultations on their implementation).
