SALES ON TRUST: PHILOSOPHY OF A SUCCESSFUL BRAND BY OLGA FINKILSTEIN

On October 17, 2025, a lecture was held for 1st and 2nd year marketing students with a practitioner – Olga Finkilstein, co-founder of a professional cosmetics and feminine hygiene brand.

The speaker focused in detail on the real challenges that entrepreneurs face when creating and promoting their own brand, frankly talked about what really works and what doesn’t in modern marketing strategies.

One of the key topics was the price of experience. Olga Finkilstein shared her own mistakes and insights, which ultimately shaped her as a co-founder of successful brands. She emphasized that you can only sell on trust, and a successful brand should convey sincerity and humanity. This principle became the basis of her philosophy.

The lecture participants had a unique opportunity to look at marketing from the inside – without illusions, but with inspiration and truth. It was a valuable practical experience that will undoubtedly be useful for future marketing students.

The event was held within the framework of the disciplines “Basics of Marketing Activity” (lecturer Liliya KHOMENKO) and “Marketing Product Policy” (lecturer Yevheniia ZIABINA).
