From April 7 to 11, 2025, a group of 31 specialists who provide support to veterans and demobilized persons underwent advanced training at the Borodyanka Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of the Population.
An important aspect of the training was the participation of teachers of the Department of Marketing (Sumy State University): Associate Professor Yana KRYVYCH and senior teachers Yevheniia ZIABINA and Liliia KHOMENKO. Their contribution was especially valuable in the context of considering issues of state veteran policy, social statuses of war veterans, mechanisms for providing housing and land plots, providing benefits and monetary compensation, as well as various types of social assistance and payments. The training program covered key aspects of social support for veterans, providing specialists with the necessary knowledge for effective work.
A special event was the visit of the course by the Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Yuliia KIRILLOVA. She talked with the specialists, discussed the current challenges and prospects for the development of the veterans support system, and also expressed gratitude for their important work.
The participation of the teachers of the Department of Marketing in such an important event emphasizes their active civic position and willingness to share expert knowledge to support socially significant initiatives. The experience gained will be valuable for the further scientific and pedagogical activities of the Department and will contribute to the deepening of cooperation between the University and state institutions in the field of social support.
