SUMY STATE UNIVERSITY EXPANDS COOPERATION WITH UNIVERSITIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
In October 2025, at the initiative of the Department of Marketing, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Sumy State University and the University of West Attica (Athens, Greece). The Memorandum provides for joint work in conducting scientific research, teaching, advanced training, organization, and participation in joint projects.
Founded in 2018 by merging several educational institutions in the Attica region (Greece), the University of West Attica is a rapidly developing state university. The university has six faculties with over 27 specialties, including engineering, healthcare, food sciences, and social and administrative sciences. The university is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports of Greece and has a strong profile of international cooperation and involvement in European and global research programs.
As part of the cooperation between universities, the preparation of a joint application for the implementation of a project within the Erasmus+ KA220-HED program framework has begun, aiming to develop innovative approaches in higher education, exchange experiences between teachers, and enhance the quality of educational programs. The responsible representative of SumDU during the preparation of this application is Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing Nataliia LETUNOVSKA.
