From May 12 to 16, 2025, teachers of the Marketing Department of Sumy State University took an active part in training specialists who provide support to war veterans and their family members.
During the week, Associate Professor Yana KRYVYCH and senior lecturers of the Marketing Department Yevheniia ZIABINA and Liliia KHOMENKO shared their knowledge and practical skills in social support for veterans.
“We consider it extremely important to join the training of specialists who work with our defenders and their families,” said Associate Professor of the Marketing Department, Candidate of Economics Yana KRYVYCH. – Our knowledge can become a valuable tool in their difficult work.”
As part of the training, the department’s teachers conducted a series of lectures, practical classes and trainings, during which the participants were to increase their level of knowledge on issues of state veteran policy, mechanisms for providing housing and land plots, providing benefits and monetary compensation, as well as various types of social assistance and payments.
The participation of the marketing department in this training is another step of Sumy State University in supporting veterans and their integration into peaceful life. The university plans to continue to actively participate in similar initiatives aimed at helping the defenders of Ukraine.
