Sumy State University has once again joined an important initiative to train specialists working with war veterans and their families.
From June 16 to 18, 2025, the teachers of the Department of Marketing of Sumdu held classes for specialists in supporting veterans at the Scientific and Educational Expert Center “Borodyanka” (Borodyanka, Kyiv region) with the support of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
During the training, Associate Professor Yana KRYVYCH, as well as senior teachers of the Department of Marketing Yevhenia ZIABINA and Liliia KHOMENKO, shared their experience and knowledge in the field of social support for defenders of Ukraine and their families.
As part of the training course, the teachers of the department held a series of lectures and practical classes, where participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on issues of state veteran policy, the provision of benefits and monetary compensation, as well as other types of social assistance and payments.
The participation of the Marketing Department in this training is another step of Sumy State University in supporting veterans and their integration into peaceful life. The university plans to continue to actively participate in similar initiatives aimed at helping the defenders of Ukraine.
