At the beginning of December, the cycle of classes on the "EU Cohesion Policy: Features of Promotion for the Formation of Sustainable Competitiveness of Regions" ended. Students of the Institute of Business, Economics, and Management and the Medical Institute of Sumy State University joined the course. The teachers of this course were the project executors, Liudmyla Saher, Nataliia Letunovska, and Anna Rosokhata.
The listeners of this course had the opportunity to get acquainted with a wide range of issues, starting with the principles, values, and goals of the EU cohesion policy, the role of stakeholders in the implementation of the cohesion policy, and the analysis of the tools for the promotion of the cohesion policy, ending with the definition of the elements of the road map for the implementation of the principles of the cohesion policy in certain areas of the development of the regions of Ukraine in the war and post-war periods.
Completing this course in the current year created new challenges for teachers, taking into account the feedback received from the course participants and turbulent times not only for Ukrainian society but also the turbulence of the economic and political environment on the world stage. The analysis of the current situation demonstrates the need for greater and greater cohesion around the solution of specific issues. It once again emphasizes the importance of spreading the principles of cohesion policy.
