In September-December 2023, Nataliia Letunovska conducted a series of lectures on the course "Healthy Regional Development: Best European Practices" for students of various specialties within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module "Healthy Economy and Policy: European Values for Ukraine" (HEPE4U). The lectures were interesting and valuable for students. In total, more than 40 students joined the classes. The lecturer spoke about the specifics of European Union legislation in the field of regional development, the main principles and features of implementing a healthy approach in the regional development of EU countries, the main tasks and goals of the European link of the World Health Organization, as well as about the main trends in health improvement in the EU and Ukraine. Invited speakers at the classes were Liudmyla Saher – Associate Professor at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and Anna Rosokhata – Senior Lecturer at Sumy State University. Students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the challenges and obstacles that stand in the way of forming a healthy approach to regional development in Ukraine and about solutions that can help domestic business entities in the segment of healthy products to become more competitive in the world market. Students gave a high assessment of the acquired knowledge within the framework of the course and their relevance. The course allowed them to deepen their knowledge of an important topic and familiarize themselves with the best European practices for implementing a healthy approach to regional development.
