VISUAL STORYTELLING IN MEDIA: A PRACTICAL LECTURE BY DENYS KRYVOPYSHYN

On December 12, 2025, students of the Department of Marketing and the BiEM Institute at Sumy State University will have the opportunity to attend a practical lecture “Visual Storytelling in Media” delivered by Denys Kryvopyshyn — Production Lead at the online magazine “CUKR.”

This hands-on lecture will introduce students to the principles of modern visual storytelling in media and the tools that help create engaging, expressive, and recognizable visual narratives. Denys Kryvopyshyn will share his professional experience in Ukrainian digital media, explain the fundamentals of visual communication, and demonstrate how to build visual stories that capture and retain audience attention.

During the workshop, participants will learn about:
the specifics of working with visual formats in digital media;
methods of combining text, graphics, and multimedia elements;
common mistakes in visual storytelling and effective ways to avoid them;
practical cases and real examples from the CUKR editorial team.
