As a part of the "ERASMUS+" program, 2nd-year students Anna KORZH and Anastasia BUDYONNA took part in the youth exchange "E-mpower: Shaping Digital Citizens" in Arnhem (Netherlands) from February 24 to March 2, 2024. Representatives of 7 countries participated in the project: Ukraine, Turkey, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland.
The theme of the events was education of a responsible digital society, development of critical thinking and media literacy. During the course of the project, trainings were held every day, at which propaganda, cyberbullying, fakes, and disinformation were discussed. Each of the participants worked in groups with representatives of other countries on a mini-project. After that, the participants made presentations and took part in discussions where they exchanged experiences and expressed their own opinions.
For greater activity, the organizers arranged "energizers" - movements in the form of an interesting game. There was a special atmosphere at the "cultural evenings" dedicated to different countries, where female students had a rich cultural experience. Each of the participants shared their traditions, taught folk dances, songs, and served dishes of national cuisine. Unforgettable moments on the project.
Congratulations to Anna KORZH and Anastasia BUDYONNA with new skills, including: critically evaluating information on the Internet, using online tools responsibly, and knowledge of online safety and ethics.
