At the end of June 2021, the Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies hosted a creative battle "Advertising Landfill". Among 10 teams from different universities of Ukraine, first place was won by the marketing department of Sumy State University. As a task PepsiCo Ukraine, on the topic "Formation of ecological culture of behaviour on the beaches", the solution of which students had to prepare for 36 hours.

The main idea of the advertising campaign of the SSU team was to draw attention to the littering of beaches and reservoirs with household waste and food scraps. During the hackathon, the participating teams met and received insights from an environmental patrol, which performed its functions on one of Odessa's beaches. "Clean beaches".
