WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT EUROPEAN COHESION POLICY?

In early February 2021, as part of the Jean Monnet project (620232-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) "EU Carbon-free economy: best practices for Ukraine", Associate Professor of Marketing Elena Chygryn gave a lecture on students of marketing "What do we know about European cohesion policy?"

The policy of cohesion of the European Union has interested everyone, because such an ideology of understanding economic processes is really effective. Within the framework of this topic the purpose, main tasks and stages of its realization are considered.

The discussion took place within the framework of the issue "Resource provision to bridge development gaps between different European regions, in accordance with the principle of solidarity." This means that our students are very interested in this area.

The basic principles of promoting economic development, reducing unemployment, preserving the environment, and improving the competitiveness of national territories and the European Union as a whole were also discussed.

Conducting such lectures-discourses for students is already a good tradition because the Department of Marketing of SRI BiEM continues to implement two projects of Jean Monnet.
