LEARNING HONESTLY - SUCCESS IN YOUR FUTURE PROFESSION

Associate Professor of Marketing Department Artem Artyukhov took part in a project for high school students "I choose my future" with a speech "Issues of integrity: I want to study honestly." Artem spoke about the virtues of academic integrity, why it is necessary to take on the responsible mission of whistleblower, the detector of violations of integrity, what harm can bring plagiarism in education.

In his speech, Artem noted:

«Integrity is the observance of six fundamental values during training: honesty, trust, respect, justice, responsibility and courage. Young person, who stands on a virtuous path must realize that it is difficult. There may be calls from all sides, even from friends, to simplify their studies through fraud. Learning honestly is much harder than getting grades by breaking the rules.

But you will like the result of honest training, because honest training is a success in the future profession. You have to understand that virtue is a vital necessity, not a tribute to fashion and just a beautiful word. Once we are on the path of virtue, we must always move with it. It is impossible to build a successful career on the basis of a diploma without knowledge and skills».

Every day we have to improve, and violations of virtue immediately throw us back a few steps. It becomes very difficult to make up for lost time in this case. "
