INNOVATION, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CHALLENGES: CONFERENCE SUMMARY

On May 12, 2026, an online conference dedicated to the current challenges of the modern economy and marketing communications was held at the Department of Marketing of SumDU.

The conference brought together young scientists from different parts of Ukraine. Students and postgraduates of SumDU took part in the discussions.

The conference program covered a wide range of topics – from neuromarketing promotion tools to global strategies for economic recovery. Participants presented the results of their own research on the digital transformation of advertising, the economy of the future, state branding, social sustainability, energy independence, ethics and legal aspects in neuromarketing.

PhD students shared the results of their dissertation research, and students demonstrated a high level of analytical training.

As part of the research work “Formation of a model of green competitiveness of Ukraine based on the principles of a circular economy: social resilience, institutional support and regulatory environment”, the results of their work were presented by young scientists:

  • Sergiy Zahorulko (postgraduate student), who covered the issue “Social resilience of the population in wartime”;
  • Iryna Lutsenko (2nd year student) with the topic “Circular economy as a model for the recovery of the economy of Ukraine”;
  • Daria Andrienko (1st year student) with the report “Circular economy as the basis of the “green” competitiveness of Ukraine in the post-war period”.

 

The conference once again confirmed that the synergy of science and youth creativity is the foundation for the innovative development of Ukraine. Thank you to all participants for their meaningful reports and active position!
