The features of using marketing in issues of a healthy lifestyle

On November 23, 2023, Nataliia Letunovska conducted a lecture for the students of Konotop Industrial and Pedagogical College of Sumy State University (Konotop) about the use of marketing tools to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population of Ukraine (in the framework of the international educational project of the Jean Monnet Module (Erasmus+) "Healthy Economy and Policy: European Values for Ukraine", aimed at spreading European values to ensure the healthy development of Ukraine). During the lecture, Nataliia talked about the legislative features of combating the spread of the "tobacco epidemic" among the population in the EU countries and the features of the anti-tobacco movement in Ukraine. Lecture participants discussed the strengths of legislative and public initiatives in Ukraine; in particular, it is interesting that Ukraine is on the list of countries in the world with the most outstanding achievements in the field of anti-tobacco information campaigns in the mass media. During the lecture, the issues of social advertising against harmful habits in Ukraine and how information works among the population regarding the dangers of smoking developed in our country were raised. Examples of marketing campaigns to combat the spread of bad habits aroused interest among listeners.
