On 18 April 2025, a career guidance meeting was held between Yana Kryvych, PhD, Associate Professor of the Marketing Department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management, and students of the Verkhniosyrovatsky Support Centre.
During the meeting, Yana Kryvych familiarised the students with the peculiarities of studying at Sumy State University, presented the educational opportunities of the Institute of Business, Economics and Management, and spoke in detail about the speciality ‘Marketing’. The students learned about modern trends in marketing, the practical component of training, student participation in projects, internships, and opportunities for further professional development.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of choosing a profession, the relevance of marketing competencies in the labour market, and the employment prospects of graduates. The meeting took place in a live communication format, which allowed students to get answers to their questions and better navigate their choice of future educational trajectory.
The Marketing Department of the Institute of Business and Economics systematically conducts career guidance work and will continue to actively cooperate with general secondary education institutions in order to support future applicants in making informed career choices.
