GREEN CAMPUS PRINCIPLES ARE IMPLEMENTED AT SUMDU<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Based on the results of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2023 assessment, Sumy State University ranked second among Ukrainian universities. In the overall ranking, it climbed almost 20 positions, entering the top 330 universities in the world.<\/p>

The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings evaluates higher education institutions that most successfully implement the Sustainable Development Goals across all aspects of their operations: infrastructure, water management, waste management, energy and climate change, transportation, environmental education, and scientific research.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On October 12, 2023, within the framework of the Jean Monnet project \u201cGreen Campus Strategies: EU Experience for Ukrainian Universities\u201d, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies, Dmytro LAZNENKO<\/strong>, conducted a seminar on the topic: \u201cDevelopment and Implementation of SumDU\u2019s Environmental Policy.\u201d<\/p>

Master\u2019s students of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies participated in the seminar.<\/p>

    ONLINE DISCUSSION: GREEN CAMPUS STRATEGIES: EU EXPERIENCE FOR UKRAINIAN UNIVERSITIES<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    On September 28, 2023, an online discussion on the peculiarities of forming green campus strategies took place as part of the Jean Monnet Module (101085427 GCAM \u2014 ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The main report was delivered by Professor Yuriy BILAN, Professor of the Department of Marketing (Sumy State University, Ukraine), Associate Professor of the Faculty of Management (Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland), and Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Economic Research (Tomas Bata University, Czech Republic).<\/p>

    The event was attended not only by students from Sumy State University but also by doctoral students from Rzeszow University of Technology and professors from foreign universities.<\/p>
